Margaret E. Rader

      Margaret E. Rader, 75, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2005, at United Presbyterian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Interment will be at 4 p.m., Friday, in McIntire Cemetery in Ottumwa. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 6 to 8, Thursday evening. Memorials have been established for Breast Cancer Research and Washington County's Relay for Life.

      Mrs. Rader was born on Dec. 15, 1929, in Ottumwa, to John Russell and Dorothy (Dunning) Arter. On June 24, 1950, she married Harry Rader in Ottumwa.
