Margaret I. Gipple

      Margaret I. Gipple, 92, of Columbus Junction, died April 4, 2006, at the Sunrise Terrace Center in Winfield, following a long illness.

      The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, at 10:30 a.m. in the Spring Run United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lexie Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Columbus City Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin noon on Monday, April 10, at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.

      A memorial has been established for the benefit of the Spring Run United Methodist Church.

      Born May 29, 1913, in Silvis, Ill., she was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Ida May Goehring Holmes.
