Margaret I. Olsen

    Margaret I. Olsen, 93, of Washington, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City following a sudden illness.

    Celebration of life services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington with services conducted by Larry Fletcher. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the West Branch Cemetery in West Branch. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Palliative Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals.

    Mrs. Olsen was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Muscatine County, the daughter of David Lloyd and Mary Clara (Jacobs) Stuart. She married Theodore Olsen on May 6, 1940, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
