Margaret M. Bowers July 15, 1910 - January 19, 2004

Margaret M. Bowers, 93, of Morning Sun Care Center, died on Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at the care center.

      The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun. There will be no calling hours today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Morning Sun Care Center.

Survivors include Melvin Bowers of Port Byron, Ill.; a sister, Miriam McConahay of Muscatine; and two brothers, Dean Samuels of Wapello and Robert Samuels of Morning Sun.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
