Margene Erlenbush

Margene L. (Davison) Erlenbush, 66, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at her home following a long illness.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Bob Spilger officiating. Burial of the cremains followed at the Ainsworth Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established.

Mrs. Erlenbush was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Washington, the daughter of Everett W. and Marjorie (Sheetz) Davison. She married John Erlenbush on March 4, 1972, at the Wayland Methodist Church.

She graduated from WACO High School in 1968. She was a member of the Ainsworth Community Church and the Sacha Club of Ainsworth. She worked as a clerk at J.C. Penny, Ainsworth Farmers Co-op and later at Walmart for over 20 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading books, crocheting, and attending her granddaughters? sporting events.

Surviving are her husband, John, of Ainsworth; one daughter, Christi Sands and husband Josh of Columbus Junction; two granddaughters; one sister, Cheryl Dahlquist of Keota; and one brother, David Davison of Brashear, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one infant brother, Dennis Davison.
