Margery Ann Dowling Voelker
IOWA CITY - Margery Ann Dowling Voelker, 83, of Iowa City, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. The Jones-Eden Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. A memorial has been established for Macular Degeneration research.
She was born Nov. 14, 1922 in Ogden, Kan., the daughter of Joseph and Florence Stephens Dowling.
