Marguerite A. Almond January 1, 1919 - April 3, 2004

Marguerite A. Almond, 85, of DeWitt, died Saturday, April 3, 2004 at DeWitt Community Hospital.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7 at the United Methodist Church in DeWitt with the Rev. Dr. John Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in DeWitt. Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home in DeWitt, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6. The family suggests memorials to Amber Ridge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of DeWitt and the United Methodist Women. She had a great love for quilting.

      Survivors include a daughter, Jane and her husband Don Colton of Zion, Ill.; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Margaret Ann; a brother, Charles Thompson; and a sister, Wilma Putney.
