Marguerite Hazel Dare

      WAYLAND - Marguerite Hazel Dare, 86, of Wayland died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in the Washington County Hospital following declining health.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17 in the Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. Phil Slabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday in the church with family members receiving friends until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home. Beatty Funeral Home, Wayland, is assisting with arrangements.

      Mrs. Dare was born Nov. 19, 1920 in Washington County, the daughter of Chris E. and Emma (Reschly) Roth. She married John Dare on March 12, 1960 in Sacramento, Calif.
