Margurette W. 'Maggie' Goggin

      Margurette W. "Maggie" Goggin, 85, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 12:20 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with Bill Payne officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.

      Visitation began at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.

      Mrs. Goggin was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Julius and Stella Courtous Receveur. She married Gilbert E. Prosser June 26, 1937. He died Sept. 3, 1967. She married John Goggin Feb. 14, 1980. He died March 23, 1985.
