Marian Eleanor Wohlleber, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, Jan. 7, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.
Visitation will begin at noon Thursday, Jan. 10, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Nancy Oehler-Love officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 24, 1914, in Syracuse, N.Y., the daughter of James and May Seeber Meager. She was educated in the Syracuse area. On June 8, 1940, she married Fred Wohlleber in New York City.
A homemaker, she moved with her husband and children to Chicago and later to Chattanooga and to Mt. Pleasant in 1964. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a founding member of the James Harlan Questers #264, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and as an HCHC volunteer.
She is survived by one son, Dale Wohlleber and his wife Kristi of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Marilyn Harris and her husband Frank of Knoxville, Tenn. and Barbara Shuptrine and her husband Jim of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, daughter Carol Wohlleber Wonderlich, sisters Ruth Gilbert and Gladys Gordon, brother Robert C. Meager, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
