Marie E. (Bombei) Redlinger, 99, of Washington, died Friday, March 27, 2020, at the Washington County Hospital. She has been cremated and the cremains will be buried at the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Keota at a later date.

Marie E. Redlinger was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Talleyrand, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Theresa (Ott) Bombei. She was united in marriage to Daryl Redlinger on Aug. 17, 1946. Marie enjoyed dancing and playing cards.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Allison and Kay Redlinger, both of Washington; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;; and a sister, Mary Lou Walker of rural Washington County.

Preceding Marie in death was her husband; three sons, Dean, Phil and Randy Redlinger; four brothers, Raymond, Richard, Howard and Herbert Bombei, one sister, Philemona Sheetz; and two infant siblings.
