Marie Howsare
Marie Howsare, 84, of Indianola and formerly of Crawfordsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, with the Rev. Skip Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for Mercy Hospice.
Mrs. Howsare was born on Feb. 16, 1920, in Crawfordsville, to James L. and Hazel Mae (Hamil) Welch. On March 10, 1948, she married Gerald Raymond Howsare in Burlington.
