Marie I. Pierce

Marie I. Pierce, 90, of Keosauqua, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron and the Rev. Bryon Wixom officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      Open visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with family present beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.

      Memorials to Van Buren Good Samaritan Center may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 3410 Brinkwood Road, Des Moines 50310-5005.

      Mrs. Pierce was born June 26, 1915, at West Plains, Mo., the daughter of John Franz and Lena Arnold Keller. She married Paul L. Pierce Dec. 8, 1936, in Memphis, Mo. He died Aug. 27, 1982.
