Marie Kleopfer December 6, 1923 - March 7, 2004

Marie Katherine Kleopfer, 80 of Riverside died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree following a brief illness.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam will officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Riverside. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary service at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside. Survivors include two daughters, Karen and her husband, Steve Scheetz of Riverside; Kathy and her husband Larry Hixson of Brighton; three sons, Douglas and his wife Mary Kleopfer, and Daniel and his wife Lori Kleopfer of Riverside, Thomas and his wife Janet Kleopfer of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Vince and his wife Anita Sojka of Kalona, Dale and his wife Darlene Sojka of Riverside; three sisters, Lorene Cerny of Lone Tree, Betty and her husband Gene Stewart and Luella and her husband Paul Beenblossom, all of Washington; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold "Jake" Sojka; and one sister, Dorothy Wollrab.
