Marie L. Mosbo November 16, 1912 - September 10, 2005

      Marie L. Mosbo, 92, of Bickford Cottage in Iowa City, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swedesburg, with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will follow in Swedesburg Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church. A memorial has been established to the A.O. Mosbo Scholarship Fund in care of the University of Colorado Foundation in Greeley, Colo. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.

      Survivors include a son, John and his wife Anna Mosbo of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; a son-in-law, Dave Binkley of Lakewood, Colo.four grandchildren and one great-grandson; and a brother, Vincent Lindeen of Mt. Pleasant.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joan Binkley and a sister, Louise Hedlund.
