Marie Madeline Vorhies
Marie Madeline Vorhies, 88, died Monday afternoon, March 19, 2001, at the Van Vorhies Haus in Mt. Pleasant.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, at Hope Lutheran Church of Germanville. Visitation will be after noon Thursday, March 22, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral in the Vorhies Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hope Lutheran Church, the Vorhies Cemetery, and the Heart Connection Children?s Cancer Camp.
