Marie Peiffer
KEOTA-Marie Peiffer, 90, of Keota died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Marty Goetz and Jason Nicholls officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery in Richland. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice or the Wilson Memorial Library.
Mrs. Peiffer was born June 4, 1916, in Northwood to Joseph and Charity (Morrow) Hartnell. She married Omer N. Peiffer July 1, 1939, in Van Nuys, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1973.
