Marie Violet Christner
MT. PLEASANT - Marie Violet Christner, 86, of the White Oak Community west of Trenton, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a lengthy illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Roy Nelson officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday at the Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to White Oak Cemetery.
