Marietta K. Canaday

FAIRFIELD - Marietta K. Canaday, 92, of Fairfield, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, in the Behner Funeral home in Fairfield with the rev. Jim McGaffey officiating. Burial will be in the Iowaville Cemetery in Selma. Visitation will begin before the service at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to New Life Community Church in Brighton.

      Mrs. Canaday was born June 24, 1916 in Bonaparte, the daughter of John and Louisa (Miner) Kimmel. She married Dale Ora Canaday on July 27, 1935 in Cantril.
