Marietta Kimmel Canaday

      Marietta Kimmel Canaday, 92, of Fairfield, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim McGaffey officiating. Interment in Iowaville Cemetery in Selma will follow a luncheon.

      Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      Mrs. Canaday was born June 24, 1916, in Bonaparte, the daughter of John and Louisa Miner Kimmel. She married Dale Ora Canaday July 27, 1935, in Cantril. He died Aug. 15, 1991.
