Marilyn Francy Jackman, 86, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at home, while surrounded by her loving family.
A daughter of Harold W. Francy and Merle M. Brun Francy, she was born at the family home in New London, Iowa, on May 11, 1936. Also preceding her in death are Alan Dean Jackman, her husband of 61 years; and her brother, Dale Francy.
A retired secretary with the state of Florida, she enjoyed scroll saw woodworking, gardening, day lilies, painting and cooking. Above all, she deeply loved her family.
he is survived by her children, Cathy Jackman Izquierdo (Manuel), Beverly Sorvillo, Kenneth Jackman (Laura) and Dan Jackman (Sherri); grandchildren, Jeremy Izquierdo (Samantha), Troy Izquierdo (Kristina), Teresa Kelly (Justin Herrin), Andrew Jackman (Shilpa), Bryan Jackman (Kimberly), Melissa Jackman Hill (Adam) and Danielle Faircloth (Zach); great-grandchildren, Taylor Barnett, Jaydyn Izquierdo, Isabella Izquierdo, Jaysen Cook, Bentley Cook, Simon Jackman, Zoe Faircloth, James Faircloth, Kinsley Hill, Luke Izquierdo, Naveen Jackman and LylaGrace Herrin; great-great-grandchild, Cotton Miller; sister-in-law, Martha Francy; and six nephews and their families.
A private family graveside service will be held at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Garden of Peace.
