Marilyn M. Brinkman

AFFTON, Mo.   Marilyn M. Brinkman, 76, of St. Louis, Mo., died Monday, March 23, 2009, in St. Louis.

    Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28.  Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery.  The Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel, in Affton, Mo., was in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Brinkman was born March 23, 1933, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Max and Gladice Cook.  She graduated from Washington High School.  She attended the State University of Iowa in Iowa City and graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  She worked as a student counselor at UMSL for 30 years before her retirement.

    She is survived by one son, Craig Brinkman of St. Louis, Mo.; and one brother, Keith L. Cook of Dubuque.

    Her parents preceded her in death.
