Marilyn “Twink” Hart Starr Ball, 97, of Keosauqua passed away at her home on Sunday, November 26, 2023. In accordance with her wishes her body was donated to the University of Iowa Hospital Deeded Body Program. No services are planned at this time. Cranston-Pedrick Funeral Home is assisting the family. Marilyn was born on April 23, 1926 to Ola Hart and William P. Starr in Fairfield. She married Ronald F. Ball on January 18, 1952 in Fort Hollabird Army Post, Counterintelligence School in Baltimore, MD.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Favour of Santa Fe, NM and Lynn Valeruz of Keosauqua, a granddaughter, Hannah Valeruz of Oakland, CA, a niece, Kem Rothe of Colorado Springs, CO and a nephew, Steven Michael of Edmonds, WA and Waddell, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald in 1989, her mother in 1971, father in 1974 and a sister in 1992.
