Marina Trepanier

Marina Trepanier, 53, of Leesville, La., and formerly of Washington, died July 9, 2000, at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital in Ft. Polk, La.

A graveside service was held July 12 in Pine Island Cemetery of Pickering, La., with arrangements by the Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home of Leesville. A memorial service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at Sunset Park in Washington.

Mrs. Trepanier was born December 4, 1946, the daughter of Manuel McKune and Virginia McKune.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip; three daughters, Lela Capper of Washington, Donna Traman of Ft. Madison, and Corrine Trepanier of Dallas, Texas; sons Howard Erdman, Jr., of Winfield, and Doug Erdman of Brighton; brothers Jerry McKune of Iowa City, Philip McKune of Washington, Roger McKune of Cambridge, Ill., Leonard McKune of Altus, Okla., Kevin McKune of Washington; sisters Janet Rice of Morning Sun and Jane Threlkeld of Washington; half-brothers Danny McKune of Ocquawka, Ill., Donald McKune of Burlington, and David Lee of Texas; half-sister Diane Wierd of Stronghurst, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lonnie McKune, a sister, Phyllis Threlkeld, and an infant grandchild.
