Marion 'Bud' Lankford
RICHLAND - Marion "Bud" Lankford, 78, of Richland, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Dean Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for the American Stroke Association.
Mr. Lankford was born Feb. 24, 1927, in Ceylon, Minn., to Thomas Lee and Goldie (Derby) Lankford. He married Donna Irene Sharp in Sigourney on Aug. 8, 1946.
