Marion Lowell Dodson

      KEOKUK-The Rev. Marion Lowell Dodson, 78, of Keokuk, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at home.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, at Keokuk Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Grant Foster and the Rev. Leonard Miller officiating. Burial with military rites accorded will be in Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with family present from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Keokuk Church of the Nazarene.

      Rev. Dodson was born on Nov. 8, 1925, in Danville, Ill., to Jerry and Geneva (Pickett) Dodson. On June 23, 1946, he married Mary L. Shaffer in Farmington. She preceded him in death in 1996. He married Anna Marie Davis on April 5, 1997, in Keokuk.
