Marion W. 'Red' Roberts

      Marion W. 'Red" Roberts, 94, formerly of Milton, died at 6:05 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in the Davis County Hospital long-term care unit in Bloomfield.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Milton Christian Church, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating, followed by Masonic rites by Celestial Lodge No. 413. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

      Open visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 3-4 p.m.

      Memorials to Heartland Humane Society may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 4114 Vista Place, Pasco, WA 99301.

      Mr. Roberts was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Liberty, Neb., the son of James and Sarah Jane Groves Roberts. He married Dorothy Nichols March 2, 1937, in Ottumwa.
