Marjorie Blum

WELLMAN - Marjorie Blum, 85, of Lone Tree, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in the Pioneer Park Care Center in Lone Tree following an extended illness.

      Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 23 in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman with Chaplin Donnita Payne-Hostetler officiating. Burial was in Wellman Cemetery. A general memorial fund had been established.

      Mrs. Blum was born May 20, 1923 in Galva, the daughter of Guy and Estelle (Bullock) Martin. She married Jack C. Rickerd on Aug. 27, 1938. He died Sept. 27, 1943. She later married Marion Blum on Aug. 30, 1945. He died July 29, 1979.
