Marjorie Brown

      Marjorie Brown, age 85, died of cancer Jan. 31, 2008 at hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa.

      Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. The Jones - Eden Funeral Home of Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 1:30 p.m. Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society or the West Des Moines United Methodist Church.       Marjorie was born July 5, 1922, in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Effie and Dell Walker. She was united in marriage to William Wright Brown on May 27, 1944. She was a long time member of the West Des Moines United Methodist Church.
