Marjorie DeSpiegelaere

      Marjorie DeSpiegelaere, 80, of Kirksville, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Mo.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, Mo., with the Rev. Dave Ream officiating. Burial, with full military rites, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Batavia Cemetery in Batavia.

      Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri and may be left at or sent to the funeral home at 2100 E. Shepherd Ave., Kirksville, MO 63501.

      Mrs. DeSpiegelaere was born April 29, 1928, in Douds, the daughter of John and Herma Hill Park. She married James Robert "Bob" DeSpiegelaere Feb. 14, 1953, in Eldon. He preceded her in death.
