Marjorie Graber

Marjorie Helen Graber, 82, of Wayland, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      There will be a family service for relatives at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery.

      The Celebration of Life memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Nathan Luitjens officiating.

      Open visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. There will be no family visitation.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Crooked Creek Camp, the Sugar Creek Mennonite Library and the Mennonite Women. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mrs. Graber was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Henry County, the daughter of Howard P. and Bessie Scarff Watts. She was a 1941 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. On May 23, 1943, she married Willis Graber at Wayland.
