Marjorie L. Embree

      Marjorie L. Embree, 94, of Washington, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, in the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following an extended illness.

      Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Colton Clay officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Embree was born July 10, 1914, in Washington, the daughter of Delbert C. and Viola Ruth (Pratt) McDole. She married Everett Lysle Embree on Nov. 30, 1935 in Sigourney.
