Marjorie L. Orr

      Marjorie L. Orr, 86, of Keosauqua, died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, east of Douds.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials to Zion Lutheran Cemetery or American Kidney Foundation may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 816 Country Lane Road, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mrs. Orr was born June 17, 1922, near Mount Zion, the daughter of Clarence and Mildred Rolison Ewing. She married John H. Orr May 27, 1944, in Keosauqua. He died Jan. 4, 2002.
