Marjorie M. Harris

Marjorie M. Harris, 88, of Iowa City, formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday morning, Jan. 22, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      A service is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Virginia United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be in New Virginia Cemetery in New Virginia.

      A family visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

      Mrs. Harris was born July 21, 1917, in New Virginia, the daughter of Jacob Charles and Mary Alice Andrews Nine. She married LeRoy W. Harris Oct. 31, 1936, in Monmouth, Ill. He died July 15, 1996.
