Marjorie Maxine Jones

Marjorie Maxine Jones, 90, of Crawfordsville, died Thursday, July 10, 2008 in the Washington Care Center following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 in the Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church in Cotter with Rachel Nicola and the Rev. Dave Stoufer officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Monday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be held in the Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. Memorials may be made to the Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church or the donor's choice.

      Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 24, 1917 in Reasnor, the daughter of Owen Ira and Vista Lucretia (Chidester) Ritter. She married John Harold Jones on March 27, 1948 in Ottumwa.
