Marjory Marilyn Lox, 96,

of New London, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at her home. She was born on December 30, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, the only daughter of Roy and Jean Pearl Good Finley and sister to William Joseph Kalin (her best friend).

She worked at IRC in Burlington and married John Ellis Lox, he died March 27, 1993.

Survivors include three children; one granddaughter, Lesley Lynn Stewart, who was like her own daughter; seven other grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with another one on the way.

Marjory was an excellent cook. Her passion was her dogs and she was never without at least one at all times. She enjoyed many hours working in her yard with flowers and feeding and watching the birds.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Oquawka Cemetery with Pastor David Mixon officiating. A memorial has been established for New London Fire and Rescue.
