Mark E. Chrisinger, 76, of rural Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.

Mark was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Chester Perle and Irene Pearl (Roth) Chrisinger. After graduation from high school, he attended the University of Indiana for a year, returning to Iowa to attend Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, where he received a degree in Business. Mark was united in marriage to Dianne K. Baxter on March 27, 1971, at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Mount Pleasant. Mark was a tax accountant for 45 years and farmed. He was a jack of all trades and was very musically talented. All his life he had a love for airplanes and race cars. He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis car races. Mark was a member of the Winfield Open Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne, of 49 years; and his children, Brenda (Jeremy) Randall of Swedesburg and their children, Chimaera, Sylvanna and Chance, Daniel (Beth) Chrisinger of Winfield and their children, Andrew and Gabriel.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

Mark's family will host a celebration of life service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Winfield Open Bible Church in Winfield with Asher Smale, Nancy Asby and Gary Hinkle officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the family and/or to Every Step Hospice of Mount Pleasant in his memory. Following the service, the family invites everyone to stay for a time of food and fellowship at the church.
