Mark E. Weston July 3, 1924 - July 10, 2003

      The Rev. Mark E. Weston, 79, died on July 10, 2003, at Goddard House Nursing Home in Boston, Mass., from complications associated with Alzheimer's disease.

      A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12 at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church. The body has been cremated and burial will be in the Lockridge Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rev. Mark E. Weston Scholarship Fund at Iowa Wesleyan College.

      Survivors include a son, Mark and his wife Kay Weston of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Martha of Jefferson; and his second wife, Muriel of Des Moines.

      In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Pamela and Mary, and a brother, Frank Weston.
