Mark J. Holtkamp

Mark John Holtkamp, 72, of Donnellson, died March 18, 2006, at 5:50 p.m., at his home.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, at the St. James Catholic Church at St. Paul, with the Rev. Gary Beckman as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery.

      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 20, at the St. James Catholic Church, with a Rosary held at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m., all at the church.

      Memorials have been established for the Holy Trinity Catholic School System and for the Lee County Health Department Hospice. Contributions may be made at the church on the day of visitation or services, or at the Barr Memorial Chapel at Ft. Madison.       Mr. Holtkamp was born Dec. 17, 1933, the son of Louis William Holtkamp and Agnes Catherine Jacobsmeier Holtkamp, in rural St. Paul. On Sept. 11, 1956, he married JoAnn Kathryn Meierotto at Houghton.
