Marlene Edna Long
Marlene Edna Long, 68, of West Chester, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at home, of cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:20 a.m. on Friday, March 19, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Burial will be in West Chester Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Cancer Care Center at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Outpatient Care at Washington County Hospital, or West Chester First Responders.
Ms. Long was born on Oct. 22, 1935, in Washington County, to Willard Marvin and Sylvia June (Maxwell) Hole.
