Martha Amanda Rice, 87, of Burlington died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Elliott Chapel, New London with the Rev. Harry Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemtery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Gideons and the American Diabetes Association.
