Martha Kriege

Martha Kriege, 98, of Remsen, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ann and Keith McClain of Luther, Mont., Charleene and her husband Stan Stigge of Mt. Pleasant, and Doris and her husband Jim Krogman of Remsen; five sons, Richard and his wife Sherron Kriege, Robert and his wife Jo Ann Kriege, all of Skiatook, Okla., Louis and his wife Karen Kriege of Iowa City, Charles Kriege of Remsen, and James and his wife Carol Kriege of Longmont, Colo.; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and several stepgrand- and step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert and his wife Dorothy Konz of LeMars; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Konz of Salix, and Mrs. George (Mary) Konz of Sleepy Eye, Minn.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson; three sisters, Anna and husband Cornelius Wolf, Rose and her husband Joe Holton, Liz and her husband Pat Their; six brothers, Pete and his wife Callista Konz, Bernard, George and Sylvester Konz, Albert Konz when a child, and Raymond and his wife Monica Konz.
