MONTEREY, Calif. ? Martha Lois Norton, 87, of Monterey, Calif., died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at her home after a 13-month battle with lung cancer.

Mrs. Norton was born Dec. 30, 1922, in Washington, the daughter of Georgia and William Alexander ?A.W.? McGinnis.
