Martha Murry has been reunited with her husband, Ron Murry, her two children, RD and Tracy, her mother, father and two brothers on Dec. 18, 2019. Her journey on earth is complete, and now she rests at the Lord's table with all the Pepsi and chips her heart desires. While she awaits the arrival of her children, Teresa Murry (Randy), Mindy Simmons (James) and Wendy Young; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and and her brother, Paul (Sharon); she will continue to watch over her flock with vigilance.

Marty lived a life of service to God's children, providing comfort, support and encouragement to those around her. With a kind heart and empathizing soul, Martha represented what God's love is and shall be. Dementia may have stolen many memories from her earthly existence, but our heavenly father will restore all that is broken. May Martha's legacy continue to touch lives, showing the world of Jesus's grace. May her family and friends be inspired by the unconditional, unrelenting love Martha had for her family.

A celebration of Martha's life will take place at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church on from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22. Following the celebration, a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will be held at the Columbus City Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of Pepsi and chips will be held at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be used to support Hospice of Washington County and the caregivers of the United Presbysterian Home. Online messages of condolescences can be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.
