Marvin Dale Slaubaugh

    WELLMAN ? Marvin Dale Slaubaugh, 74, of rural Wellman, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at his home.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the West Union Methodist Church in rural Parnell with the Rev. Martha Yoder officiating.  Burial will be at West Union Mennonite Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman.  Memorials may be directed to District 3 Mennonite Disaster Service or Iowa City Hospice.

    Mr. Slaubaugh was born Oct. 6, 1934, in rural Parnell, the son of Jacob Arthur and Mary Anna (Yoder) Slaubaugh.  He married Alma Grace Miller on April 25, 1959, in Goshen, Ind.
