Marvin F. Hesse

      Marvin F. Hesse, 81, of Bloomfield, died at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

      A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery in Davis County, with military rites by American Legion John Hyson Reneker Post No. 494.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 614 N. Washington Ave., Bloomfield 52537.

      Mr. Hesse was born July 6, 1926, in Camanche, the son of Frederick and Martha Wolfe Hesse. He married Mildred Goodell Nov. 27, 1946, at Little Brown Church in Nashua.
