Mary A. Remick November 19, 1914 - October 19, 2005

Mary Alice Remick, 90, of Winfield, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant, with Father Nick Adam officiating. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with a rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. and family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials have been established to Sunrise Terrace Care Center and the Winfield First Responders.

      Survivors include three daughters, Janet Coppes of Yarmouth, Marianna Kelley of Burlington, and Linda Kerr of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Glanzman of California, and Donald Glanzman of Mt. Pleasant.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald Remick; and four brothers, Fritz, Jim, Dale and Paul.
