Mary Ann Lisk, age 74, of Keokuk, formerly of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
Graveside Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, IA, with Reverend Phil Campbell officiating.

Mary Ann was born November 22,1946, in Fairfield, IA, to Raymond and Arlene (Steele) Lyon. She graduated from Van Buren Community High School, Keosauqua, IA, in 1965. After graduation, she resided in Fairfield, where she was secretary at Fairfield Presbyterian Church and later secretary at Louden Company. Mary married Vernon Lisk December 29, 1990. They lived in Mt. Pleasant, IA, where she was secretary at Metromail. They later moved to Keokuk, IA, where she spent many volunteer hours working at the Salvation Army receiving Highest Volunteer Award, prior to complications to her illness.
Mary Ann enjoyed spending her time cooking, baking, and sewing. Through the years, she created many baby quilts that were shared and loved by many friends and family. She treasured the time she spent with family and friends; many hours spent at the kitchen table sharing memories. Peeps were her favorite food and she was an avid Neil Diamond fan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Vernon of Keokuk, IA; her children, Misty Sue Haydt (Walt) of Des Moines, IA, Jeff Lisk of Norwalk, IA, and Wendy Galambos of Newberg, OR; six grandchildren, Corissa Studebaker, Whitney Duwe, Christian Glambos, Hannah Glambos, Jacob Lisk and Alley Lisk; four great-grandchildren, Lilyana, Kayden, Stella and Xena; siblings, Robert Lyon of Fairfield, Louise Stammerman of Waukee and David (Diane) Lyon of Birmingham; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Arlene; brother, James Metcalf; and sister, Vickie Glover.
