Mary Elizabeth Hawk

      Mary Elizabeth Hawk, 93, of Fairfield, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital.

      A funeral was held this morning at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

      Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Fairfield or Bargain Box in Fairfield.

      Mrs. Hawk was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles and Minnie Smith Jones. She married Palmer Joseph Hawk Oct. 19, 1940, at her parents' home near Pleasant Plain. He died April 2, 1996.
