Mary Elmina Engel

      Mary Elmina Engel, 99, of Libertyville, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Libertyville Faith United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Renken officiating. Interment will be at Grace Hill Cemetery in rural Brighton.

      Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville.

      Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Mrs. Engel was born Dec. 27, 1909, in Libertyville, the daughter of Jonathan Fred and Jessie Conner McElderry. She married LaMonte Williams July 1, 1931. He died in 1937. She married Joseph Engel March 16, 1941, in Ottumwa. He died in 1988.
